QA Engineer - Level ll
Job Description
This role will give you the opportunity to:
• Work in a key part in the insurance industry, Reinsurance. The domain knowledge you will gain is in high demand.
• Be a part of an International Team: Our team is spread across USA, Philippines, and India.
• Work in Cloud: We are heavily invested in Cloud and only getting started.
• Automation: You’ll work on creating new processes and tools that will replace manual process and add more value to business. Write and execute test cases (manual or automated) and analyze results.
• Write SQL Queries to reconcile or analyze data related issues.
• Effectively communicate with business users to understand requirements and Test the Business Requirements against the application functionality.
• Report bugs and communicate with the development team.
• Find opportunities for processes improvement and propose solutions.

Qualification
You have at least 3 to 5 years of experience being a QA or Testing role, with some of it focused on Data Intensive Applications.
• You can write SQL really well. (We love to see some samples you wrote)
• You can understand data models. (We have some complicated ones)
• You take ownership and solve problems when you see them.
• You are able to understand and reason about complex business process.
• You have good communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with business users, software engineers and business analysts.
• You have high empathy and a keen sense of understanding how other people think
Required knowledge & skills would typically be acquired through a bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field plus 8+ years of related experience.
• You can write SQL really well. (We love to see some samples you wrote)
